About Us
Coastal Byproducts is a local, family-owned and operated, earth-friendly business, specializing in the free recycling of grease and cooking oil from restaurants and other locations that generate this food-service waste. Coastal Byproducts services the areas of Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, as well as the areas of North Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo counties. Coastal Byproducts is a state certified company whose goal is to offer clean, professional, environmentally-friendly solutions to your company's liquid waste needs. Recycling grease and cooking oil is our specialty. Our customers can be assured that we are investing in the proper equipment and facilities to maximize the recycling of this waste, and that their used grease and cooking oil is completely recycled and re-used. This liquid waste will be produced into various products such as biodiesel, animal feed, soaps, cosmetics and lubricants instead of clogging our sewers or adding to our landfills. Coastal Byproducts was founded by two local partners, Craig Boyce and Mark Craig, who were both raised and educated in Santa Barbara. Not only are they partners, they are also brothers. Craig, 38, graduated from Westmont College and Mark, 30, from UC Santa Barbara. Both completed their degrees in Economics, and are established entrepreneurs with a solid track record of providing quality, professional cleaning and maintenance services to local businesses along the Central Coast. Seeing the need for safely recycling grease and cooking oil, they have partnered once again to provide their customers with the same high-quality, reliable service for which they are known. |
